Nurturing Leaders for Tomorrow's World

Bienvenidos,

My name is Oscar Franco. I am from Bogota,  Colombia. I am married and have one little daughter who was born last summer. I studied Philology and Languages and Majored in English at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. I also received a degree on Translation English- Spanish at the same university. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages  (TESOL).

I have been a language teacher for about 11 years. I have taught English and Spanish to students of all ages. I worked in Minnesota as a TA in an immersion school in the Robbinsdale District in 2002. I went back to Colombia, I taught English for three more years and then I went to North Carolina where I worked as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for three years

In my classroom I try to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and joy for learning.
