Welcome to the Fourth Grade Class!

!Hola¡ I am Sra. Boeser the 4th grade teacher. I am excited be the teacher in this classroom.  Our classroom is special because we learn through themed projects, work in small groups, have Spanish immersion and study the core subjects in English.  This is an unique combination that will enhance the learning experience for each student at ISLA.  I welcome everybody, students and parents, to take this journey with me as we explore new strategies, languages, and topics throughout the year. I look forward to watching the students grow and speaking Spanish with them.  There is no greater reward than watching the class succeed and excel in their studies.  Be prepared for a whole new experience!

I thank you in advance for choosing ISLA and taking part in this wonderful opportunity to learn.

Please feel free to contact me at anytime.

Con Cariño,

SRA. Boeser

Resources

The public libraries have a decent selection of Spanish books for children.  Some of these books have Spanish and English and many of them are books that the students already know in English.  You can also go online and reserve the books you would like and they will hold them at your local library.  Here is the website for the Hennepin County Public Library:

Class Wish List

Spanish Books - I want to thank some parents for purchasing Spanish books for our classroom! We have time to read Spanish books everyday so it is greatly appreciated.

Magazines - If you have any old magazines lying around the house don't throw them away. Please donate them to our classroom.
