¡Bienvendios a 4° Grado!

¡Hola! I am Sra. Boeser the 4th grade teacher.  I am excited to be here at ISLA and be your teacher.  There are a lot of interesting and fun projects that happen in 4th grade.  We have 6 IB units that involve exploring sound, art, people around the world, MN history, structures of life and money!  I welcome everybody, students and parents, to take this journey with me as we learn and work together throughout the school year.  I look forward to watching the students grow and progress in their language development.  There is no greater reward than having the class succeed and excel in their studies.  Be prepared for a whole new experience!

I thank you in advance for choosing ISLA and taking part in this wonderful opportunity to learn at a Spanish immersion school.

Con Cariño,

Sra. Boeser

Resources

The public libraries have a decent selection of Spanish books for children.  Some of these books have Spanish and English and many of them are books that the students already know in English.  You can also go online and reserve the books you would like and they will hold them at your local library.  Here is the website for the Hennepin County Public Library:
www.hclib.org.

Class Wish List

Spanish Books - I want to thank some parents for purchasing Spanish books for our classroom! We have time to read Spanish books everyday so it is greatly appreciated.

Magazines - If you have any old magazines lying around the house don't throw them away. Please donate them to our classroom.
