Bilingualism and Children Workshop
Want to know more about how children learn a second language or how you can support bilingualism?Minnetonka Community Education offers this interactive workshop, designed for parents and others experiencing or contemplating bilingualism for their child(ren).You will explore the benefits, development and common myths of learning a second language in childhood.Instructors are adjunct professors at Hamline University, Graduate School of Education, in addition to being language teachers and parents of bilingual children.This is a one session workshop being held on Wednesday, March 17th from 7-9 pm in room 205 of the Minnetonka Community Education Center located at 4585 Vine Hill Road, Excelsior, MN55331.The cost is only $14.00.You can register for this class on-line at www.minnetonkacommunityed.org.
